Challenge

Our Los Angeles-based client asked us to create a new brand of sparkling water infused with natural fruit flavors and Vitamin C to promote healthy skin.

The brand needed to evoke a transportive experience; a refreshing respite as if drawn from collective memories of summers past. This dream-like feeling of nostalgia became our strategy to stand out in a crowded sea of competition.

Overview

In developing the overall brand, we needed to consider all possible touch-points to bring the new brand to life including: naming, identity, product look and feel, packaging, and marketing strategy.

Brand Identity

We used bright, bold colors to celebrate the natural fruit flavors, pairing them with whimsical characters basking in dreamy, sun-soaked summer environments and a touch of retro-chic.

Result

Inspired by the nostalgic feel of vintage travel posters and historic cinema, our new brand embodies a modern and refined sensibility. The final design achieved our client’s goal of creating a design – with both sensory appeal and emotional resonance – that captures the essence of carefree, summer vibes.
